Using the Sauna Safely

The sauna is electric and extremely hot. Do not touch the stove, stove door, sauna rocks, or surrounding fire guards, and only pour water onto the stones as instructed.

When pouring water on the rocks, start from the point furthest away from you to prevent scalding.

Children and Young People

Children of 16 years and under are permitted to use the Sauna, with an Adult Family Member/Guardian present at ALL TIMES during the hire and use of the sauna. Supervision must be on a 1:1 ratio.

A parent, guardian, or adult family member accompanying a minor must confirm their relationship to the minor and accept full responsibility for that minor during the sauna hire and use, as part of the waiver process.

No under 7s allowed. No under 16s allowed in ice baths/plunge pool/cold showers.

Conduct

Alcohol and smoking are not permitted in or around the sauna. We reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons.

Any hanging jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.

Sauna Etiquette

  • Enter and exit the sauna with care.
  • Remove shoes before entering.
  • Sit on a towel at all times.
  • Stay in the sauna for no longer than 20 minutes at a time (we recommend 5–15 minute sessions).
  • Do not use essential oils in the sauna unless provided by Sauna + Flow.
  • Only swimwear may be worn in the sauna. Nudity is not permitted.

Group Bookings

If you are making a booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make all users aware of these terms and to practice safe sauna use, as well as making others aware of what to bring and other useful information.

We reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

Cold Plunge

Cold Plunge is done so completely at your own risk and is NOT covered by our Insurance Policy.
